Yes!! Great news!! He said the issue looks like it has totally corrected itself. My cervix is long and totally closed again even though baby boy still has his head right on top of it. He also said there is a ton of mucous so not to be surprised by that. I have been having contractions a lot yesterday and today but they aren't doing anything, and that is JUST what I was hoping to hear.

So no cerclage and we are cleared to travel. And can you believe he cleared us to home-birth as well. He told me he totally understands given all of the VBAC Ban hospitals out there and that if I am comfortable with my provider and environment, then to go for it. He did advise against having the whole family there during the event lol, which I wasn't planning to anyways. And he said as a VBAC/HBAC I should definitely not induce if I can avoid it... which I wasn't planning on either.

But all of this cervical funneling had me and DH thinking... our water here on the military base just got shut down for several days a couple of weeks ago right around the time I started having all the ctx and cramping. They said the flouride levels were too high for consumption. I drink at LEAST 100-130 oz of water a day straight from the tap but stopped as soon as they put out the warning and I have been drinking strictly bottled water. So I googled "PTL and flouride" and sure enough it has been linked. Hmmmm.... we are thinking there may be a very strong connection there...

Woo Hoo!!!! Sounds fantastic! I've been wondering how it was all going.

I googled flouride once and I'm just not sure how I feel about having that in the water supply anymore or even in my toothpaste.

Yeah from what I've read, the EPA (I think... don't quote me) has recommended that it's use be suspended pending more research. At this point they cannot determine if the benefits of it's use outweigh the risks... so WHY are they still using it?!?! I don't know...
