Thanks for sharing that picture! I'll show DH as part of my "it won't be gross" speech

I LOVE that your older kids hopped right in! I'm sure mine will have their bathing suits on a the mention of the word "pool"!

I'm so glad you asked this as I've been wondering the same thing. I really want a pool but didn't know it if would be worth it since I tend to have quick labors. Now I'm going to do some birth pool searching

Audra, you are so funny. In the pool with your kids like nothing happened right after your baby was born. And "oh, we're just going to use our garden tub this time" LOL! Awesome!
We actually have a huge soaking tub at our house and this whole time I have been wishing we were having a homebirth (can't, that's another story...) so I could use it. Part of me has been imagining an accidental homebirth in the tub....I planned a water birth last time but we didn't have time to fill the tub and by the time we got to that stage I was refusing to move and it didn't sounds good at all. I was a bit worried about the ick factor too, but it never seems to be a problem for anyone, so I just decided not to think about it and assume no one would care when it actually happened. The hospital I'm delivering at this time has a birth tub and I'm thinking about putting myself on the list to use it. Anyway, I say go for it!
