Okay, so I introduced myself a few months ago, but I have only been lurking as I've been dealing with pregnancy depression, so I'm coming out of lurkdom now and expect to participate more. Smile

For kicks, I'll re-introduce myself.

I'm Janelle, I'm 28. Wife to Brad/31, mother to Jacob/7 and Daniel/2. I'm 28 weeks along in my last pregnancy and we are excitedly expecting a surprise! Yahoo My doctor doesn't even know the gender of our baby! Lol

This pregnancy has not nearly been as "eventful" as my last one (was on modified bed rest starting at 12 weeks for morphing BH's), but it's def been more miserable with back pain and reflux and depression.

I am happy to say I'm officially in the 3rd trimester, Jacob's last day of school for the summer is tomorrow, and I'm hoping to have a stress free next few months! Yahoo

I look forward to participating more on this board and actually reading the lodges as they get put up. I'm starting to get excited about delivery again. Yahoo

Thanks for reading! :wavehello:

I'm so sorry, I feel terrible that I haven't been lurking and following you on your board. I wish this had been an easier pregnancy for you.

I've dealt with pregnancy depression in both of my pregnancies. Luckily, mine is mostly 3rd trimester though. It is very difficult. Hugs. For me, Vit D has helped some this time, might be something to try if you haven't already.

Yipppeeeeee, on being in 3rd trimester. I hope the summer goes quickly for you Smile

Yeah, I've been told that Vit-D can help. The sun hasn't exactly been shining, so if I haven't made enough progress with dealing with the depression on my own before my next appointment (June 30th) then I will talk to my doc about adding it. The first improvement would be to actually take my prenatals. I've been so down that I've not managed to even do that too well. I take my heartburn meds daily, but that's cause I have severe pain when I don't (sometimes even when I do), but the prenatals haven't had much of a noticeable response other than I'm thinking they are making nausea worse. I'm almost out now and I will buy a different brand. I'll go back to the ones I used with both of my other pregnancies.

I'm buying Ina May's Guide to Childbirth on Friday when DH's paycheck is in, and I'm hoping that will help me as well. Smile

I know I said this on our birth board, but I'm praying for you that the depression will get better! I LOVE Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. I read it during my first pregnancy, and I need to read it again soon! I think you'll really enjoy it.
