EPO & Black Cohosh - now what?

What do i do with the EPO (inset it? how much how often?) and the Black Cohosh capsules? Was I supposed to buy tea? I just swallowed one Black Cohosh capsule for now.
(I am 41 weeks.)
Thanks!!!

ETA: I have been looking on the internet and it doesn't seem like these are likely to do anything for me. I read to take 2-3 EPO capsules orally per day and insert 2 at night. And for the black cohosh...a bit confusing...sounds like it's not very effective, and the blue is dangerous.

And anyways I just want it to happen without my interference. More likely a good experience for me and baby that way. I wasn't impatient at all until that dumb 42 week deadline. I have to recompose myself.

I used the EPO- 2 orally in the morning and 2 vaginally in the evening. As I understand it, EPO won't make labor start or anything, but just works on ripening your cervix- so it's not really all that interventionist of you.

I'm sorry your feeling pressured to have your little one. EPO is good to take, 2 orally and 2 vaginally is what I've taken with all of mine. I stick the two that I use vaginally with a pin to help it spread around a bit quicker/easier. If there are any reputable herbalists around I'd look into the cohoshs, otherwise I wouldn't mess with them.

I did the EPO and it helped soften my cervix, but that is it. The only thing that worked or me was acupuncture. Within 20 minutes I was in active labor. I did not want to anything either but it was that or medical induction.

Hmmm....I hadn't thought about acupuncture. Was it a certain technique or would the acupuncturist just know what to do? I may look into that for Friday.

Have you tried to get help from DH? Nothing like a good "O" to help get things started...

I would think any acupuncturist would know what to do...mine did.
