Okay, so here's my question ...
Because of Ben's cleft, I'm exclusively pumping. We're coming up to a point that I'm not going to be able to keep up with him. He's eating about 75mL every 2 to 3 hours, longer at night. I can get around 100mL a pump. I'm taking Reglan as well.
The supplement I bought is 500mg of fenugreek, and it says to take 2 capsules 2 times a day, which would equal out to 2000mg a day. Everything I've read said most moms need about 3500mg a day to notice a difference. Should I be taking more, or should I follow the directions? (For reference, the supplement I bought is both Fenugreek and Fennel. It's called Lactation Aid, I believe. They were ordering regular fenugreek for me since I don't have any issues atm with let down.) I just started it so I don't smell like maple syrup yet, I just don't want to waste a week seeing if the 2000mg will work.
TL;DR version: If you took Fenugreek, how much did you take per day?

Yes, I also used the 610mg staight fenugreek at 3 capsules 3 times per day. Found that this did wonders for boosting my milk after bringing it in with just my pump while LO was unable to nurse in NICU.
Have you looked into taking Domperidone instead of Reglan? I've heard that some have better results with it. Hope the fenugreek helps out!

I do 4 610mg pills at 2 or 3 times a day. It is not working for me though.

Here is a list of all the herbs that have been used:
Personally I took Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle and Alfalfa all together and that worked well for me. The More Milk Plus by mother love has Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle and Nettle Seed. I can't take the tincture though because nettle is what is used to flavor black licorice and that tastes too gross for me.
