Hi new to this board

My name is Jamie and finally after 4 midwife assisted hospital births Im finally getting to plan for my first home birth.

Sorta tend to be a very opinionated person. Ive studied a lot and know my body well. Hope to avoid a disaster like my last delivery in the hospital.

Was really pleased when my HB midwife said she had room in her schedule for me. YIPPEE.

Found Ive been very aggressive with this PGcy and my friend thinks Im having a boy with all this testosterone in me or something.

Im just so tired of the medico telling me and other women what to do and how things "should" be done.

A very old fashioned type person, Im only 31. This is my 6th PGcy and my 5th child, Lord willing. We lost our oldest (7yo) son to a drowning accident last January. Probably has something to do with the aggressiveness and high hormonal and emotional state Ive been in.

Hope to find some like minded people here. Im afraid I'm probably wearing on others with my natural state of mind on my board.

Welcome and congrats on your pregnancy. I think you are in the right place. I am so very very sorry to hear about the loss of your son. I can't even imagine and yes I can see how that can be contributing to your state of mind. Huge hugs and prayers to you and your family.
