    Talking Hopefully a 3rd vbac

After what I thought was af last month, I continued to have some spotting and decided to take another pregnancy test, and bfp! I've never had implantation bleeding that heavy, so I'm nervous, but thought I'd stop by here.

This will be my 4th baby. I've had 2 natural, med free hospital vbacs. And hopefully this will be my 3rd vbac, only I'm looking into a home birth this time. It might be tricky with my rural location, but with my very fast birth last time, I doubt I'd make it 45 minutes to a hospital anyway!

I see some familiar faces, look forward to getting to know everyone.

Congrats again! I assume this is a FB secret still? How did you tell your husband?

Good luck in finding a HB provider. I agree, with the 4th baby, a 45 minute hospital trip is unlikely.

Yes, fb secret. We haven't told anyone in real life yet, except our two year old, who says he wants a baby chicken, not a baby human. Haha
Well, hubby was a bit shocked since I told him I had af two weeks ago. Lol I think he's in denial a bit, I made a crack about barefoot and pregnant this morning and he had actually forgot I was pregnant! How things change from the 1st baby to the 4th.

Your two-year-old is keeping a secret? Wow!

Congrats, and I'm LOL at your hubby forgetting. I can't tell you how many times I poured myself a glass of wine when I was first pregnant each time before remembering I was pregnant. Until my pants got too small, I didn't feel pregnant.

Congratulations! Sending sticky vibes! Good luck on your home birth plans! My favorite birth was my home birth.

Hi! 45 minutes does seem like a long drive for a 4th baby when I assume you've had fast births?! I hope you get the home birth of your dreams!

Congrats on the new pregnancy. Are midwives covered by your provincial health plan? Are there many of them in Nova Scotia?

Yes, midwives are covered but not readily available unfortunately, especially for rural folks. I know another mama near me paid out of pocket for a midwife from out of province, so that may be an option. I'll have to really look into my options, I may still end up in hospital, but I do like my gp. iI would rather stay home tho.

I'm sorry to hear that! Here they are covered, but only about 50% of the people who want midwife care get midwife care since the demand far exceeds the supply I hope you figure out a way to get the homebirth you want.
