I hope you're home soon, if not already, that would be so scary for everyone. A friend of mine had to pass kidney stones while pregnant and she thought she was going to die it was so painful. Thank God it wasn't worse case scenario, prayers are being sent your way.

Thank you so much for all the good thoughts sent my way. I didn't get a chance to update sooner so sorry about that. I got to home last night about 8:30pm. The OBGYN came in about 6:30pm and based on the fact that my temp had stayed around 97.2 the whole day he said I could go home as soon as my last antibiotic was in. So as soon as that was completely in me, they took out my IV so I could take a real shower, not a one handed one like the day before. I showered and was packed so quickly...then just had to wait for DH to finish feeding the kids dinner and come pick me up. Because we didn't get out until about 8:30 we didn't have time to fill my prescription so last night was tough as the pain kicked in as soon as the meds wore off and I had to last the night just on Tylenol. But he filled it this morning and once I took a pill I felt better. Today has been pretty good. So nice being home. DH took the rest of the week off, today and tomorrow, and has been helping tons. I have mostly been resting on the couch so I can be with the family still. One weird thing that is happening though is that I have been having tons of Braxton Hicks contractions. Way more today than I have had in any other day. Hope they slow down. I just barely hit 29 weeks...there is no way I want a preemie this early. Hope I can continue to relax and de stress and things go back to normal.

Glad you are home! Sorry about the pain last night, ouch! Make sure you drink a whole bunch of water, good for the stones and for the BHs. I've been having some pretty strong bouts of BH's since around 25-26 weeks and it is scary...but every time I've been able to get them to stop by drinking a couple large glasses of water and lying down for a bit. If I add some lemon juice and ice to my water I suck it down fast, which seems to do the trick...sipping slowly never works to tame the BH's.

Yep, load up on the water! When you aren't feeling well, it's hard to keep drinking water, but it's what your body really needs right now. Did they tell you what type of kidney stone you have? There are different things you can eat & drink to help reduce your risk.

Thanks for the advice ladies. I never really knew that about the water but that totally makes sense. I have been having BH a lot and haven't been drinking much water cause I haven't been feeling too good, but I will try to increase my water intake regardless of how I feel. I came down with a yeast infection the day after I got home from the hospital also. Sigh...what else can go wrong? DH said it is a side effect of the antibiotic they gave me in the hospital cause not only did it kill the bad bacteria but it killed all the good bacteria also. So I am dealing with that on top of everything else. Never had a yeast infection before. And then yesterday my eyes started to bother me and I noticed some little amounts of goop coming out of the corners here and there and I feel like constantly rubbing them. Not sure what that is about...but just one more thing to deal with. I hope this all clears up soon.

Ugh! That sounds miserable. Your DH is probably right about the cause of your yeast infection. Monistat is safe to use when pregnant to get rid of it. And if your eyes get worse, I totally recommend the polisporin eye drops.
