I was emailing the midwife we will be using when we get pregnant, asking her about payment plans and if we don't have her paid off before we have the baby if it would be okay to pay her as soon as we could and just make monthly payments. She said that would be fine and then asked what our insurance was, she also asked if I could crochet some fake boobs for her too, and I told her once again who our provider was. Well turns out she will be a provider for our insurance with in about a month. Which means that we very well may not have to pay anything! I'm seriously so excited I could cry! This is seriously the answer to my prayers! When things are meant to be the Lord truly will bless you!

That's fantastic! Our homebirth was entirely out-of-pocket and it was a bit of a stretch, financially. Worth every penny though!

Thanks ladies! I talk to the insurance this morning and they don't have record of her submitting her credentials yet, but that doesn't mean she isn't in the process of getting them together, but as long as she is a provider for our specific plan, she can choose what plans she wants to provide for, then it will be covered. I also asked the midwife if a home birth would be covered or if we would need to go to a birth center and she told me that they will cover her as a midwife so it doesn't matter where I birth it will be covered.According to the insurance we would have to go to a birth center but I guess my midwife knows how to do things so a home birth is covered.
Which makes me very happy.
lol Ashleigh!!! I will accept all pink baby dust.We will for sure wait at least one more month to see. Though we will still do a home birth if it isn't covered by our insurance, the insurance coverage is just a huge bonus!
It's going to be around $2,000. Which we will be able to pay with our taxes next year. That's a good part of the reason we have waited.... well I have waited.

Wow, that is such amazing news! She has plenty of time to get it all approved and set up too. Sounds like a definate blessing!

She was approved yesterday!!!!! She just has to do the final paper work and she should be set up and ready to go in about a month. I asked her if she was going to be a provider for our specific plan and she didn't know for sure. She assumed she was for all of them, which I would bet so since there are really only 2 plans for Utah for this specific insurance. But she was going to get a hold of her insurance lady and ask her to make sure and then she would let me know.I talked to the insurance and they said as long as she is a provider for our plan she will be 100% covered.

OMGosh! How fantastic! That really is the best news I've heard today. I'm so excited for you!! I know you are so ready and that getting to a point where you could afford it was important to you, so this is so exciting to hear.
Thank you Christa! That means a lot to me that you are so excited for me.
I still worry about things financially but more about being able to fit all 3 kids in the back of our truck. I'm thinking DS1 will be put in a regular booster seat in a few months. He is just barely under the weight limit but he will be 3 in July and that's the youngest age on the boosters. I would get one with a back though. Then I from there I need to decide if we will put the new baby in his old convertible or use the infant carrier. It would be less stressful with a bigger vehicle but I'm sure we can make 3 car seats fit in our truck till we can get a bigger vehicle.
Other than that things seems so right. I'm ready to stop using protection not actively try but stop preventing but I don't know about DH. Just waiting on him to get on board, which I'm thinking might not be too much longer.

That will be awesome news that your insurance will cover her! I'd be through the moon as well!
I've fit a bucket, high back booster, and convertable in the back of our old Thunderbird which is probably about the same size as the back seat in a truck. I bet you can fit 3 seats.
