I really hope I make it to my due date!! (xp)

we finally moved into our new place on Friday! It's great, the neighbors are awesome and the kids are having a blast. People have been helping us get settled, but there are still a lot of boxes and still a lot of work. I am going to post a video tour of the place on youtube for my family abroad, so I'll post a link here when I do. It's a cute house!

So I have been having BH since about 25 weeks, - no biggie, 5th baby, lots going on, yadda yadda... but for the past week, they have been getting more noticeable and more difficult to ignore. Not consistent or anything, but the interesting thing is that it's not only when I've been on my feet for a while, it will happen when I'm lying in bed too.

I'm watching my hydration, drinking RRL and nettles, taking motherwort tincture when I feel I need it (my bottle of rescue remedy just broke!! but one of my neighbors makes bach remedies, so I'm going to give her a call today!) I'm keeping it together and taking it as easy as I can... but I really really really don't want this to turn into labor! Especially for the next 2 weeks so I don't have to go to the hospital - but even after that, I really want to make it at least to the week of my due date!!! (watch me go to 42 weeks now!! you know what? I wouldn't even mind!!)

Anyway, just venting and breathing and unpacking and stuff (and happy that we finally got our phone and internet set up just now!)

Hopefully it's nothing, just prep, and baby will give you some time yet. You have to go to the hospital before 38 weeks? Here it's 37, which seems more reasonable since I've known lots of women who had natural, spontaneous, healthy births in that 37th week. Huh.

YAY for being moved! That must be a huge relief to not have hanging over your head, at least. Take care of yourself, and unpack at a leisurely pace.

Yay for being moved! I hope the things you're feeling are just from all the extra stress & activity.

its 37 here, but i'm only 35 weeks today - my ticker is actually not on the same schedule as my official u/s dates... which is what counts for this particular situation.

I am definitely trying not to stress out about being slow. it helps that our bedrooms are set up enough to feel comfortable and it totally helps that it's sooo amazingly comfortable and breezy here in the evenings! DH and I sat outside after the kids fell asleep and I didn't want to come inside! It was over 100 F during the day, and now with the fan going in my room I'm actually feeling cool! LOVE THAT! the town we moved from did not cool down at night. miserable all summer long... so I'm thrilled with that!

That's awesome! It stays hot here pretty late right now, but at least it's been cool enough to sleep by bedtime.

Ah, your ticker--got it. Smile Hopefully it's not an issue!
