Introducing myself

Hi ladies! :wavehello:

I am still very early on, but wanted to come introduce myself. I am unhappy with how my first labor went (elective induction, epi, vacuum) and am looking for resources on having a natural labor and delivery with this lo. I've seen the Business of Being Born but was hoping for some more in depth resources (mostly books) on natural childbirth that I can educate myself with. Does anyone have recommendations?

I'm looking forward to getting to know the ladies on this board!

Welcome and congrats on your pregnancy.

There are lots of great books out there but one that I thought was especially good was Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin.

Congrats on your pregnancy! There is a resource sticky with lots of information in it. The makers of The Business of Being Born have a companion book called "Your Best Birth" that fills in a lot of information I thought the movie left out. I like that, especially if you're really new to natural birth.

What exactly are you looking for? Resources for making decisions and developing your birth plan, inspiration for natural birth, or how-to information about how to prepare yourself?
