I've been lurking here some, but haven't made myself known. Due to some peer pressure, I'll go ahead and introduce myself now.
My name is Anna, I'm 31. I have 1 DD that is 14 months old and DS is due in April. I wanted an unmedicated birth with DD, but got a c/s instead due to breech baby. This time I'm going for unmedicated hospital VBAC. I would have loved to get a MW and use a birthing center, but unfortunately those are not available in my area, so hospital birth it is. Luckily, I have a supportive and wonderful OB. I do need to ask my wonderful and supportive OB about the other OB's who might be on call when I go into labor though. Anyway, I think that covers the basics.
Oh! And I'm hoping to try hypnobabies too! I've got some friends who are trying to hook me up (I am a SAHM and DH is currently unemployed).
Hello Anna!!!! So glad you came out of lurkdome
Yay, I'm glad you came over here! I was thinking about you today and wondering if I should mention to you about joining this group. So glad 'someone else' did the peer pressuring for me!

I'm a really good peer pressurer (<---is that a word ) haha! you'll love it over here Anna!!! these girls are amazingly knowledgeable and supportive!
Thanks, ladies!! Sure seems like I know a lot of you already!
I'm excited to try the hypnobabies. It seems like the closer I get to April the more nervous I get. I think about it constantly and have this urge to plan it all out. I'm not sure when I became such a planner. For me, the only appeal to a scheduled c/s would be the knowing exactly what day he would be here, but the recovery time and the idea of being cut open make me sick to my stomach to even think about. I really want my VBAC, and I'm scared it's not going to work out again.
