Hi! Welcome! I don't post much, but have used Hypnobabies for both of my LO's and LOVED IT! I hope you do too!

Hi Anna! I'm mostly a lurker myself here but I happened to recognize your siggy and remembered you read and commented on my birth story I used Hypnobirthing and really loved it. I chose "Hypnobirthing" over Hypnobabies just because I wanted the in person classes because both DH and I are so busy that I didn't think we would do the self study but it turned out I actually liked practicing the breathing and visualization most nights because it helped me fall asleep. I was never very good at the self hypnosis but found that it didn't matter in labor because I had gotten the point of relaxing my body with it even if I couldn't visualize myself somewhere else or pain free. I hope you love Hypno as much as I did!

Hi Anna! It is neat how our paths seem to be crossing all across pg.org! I'm really excited to hear your journey. I think if/when I have another LO, I'll definitely do hypnobabies!

I'm excited to try the hypnobabies. It seems like the closer I get to April the more nervous I get. I think about it constantly and have this urge to plan it all out. I'm not sure when I became such a planner. For me, the only appeal to a scheduled c/s would be the knowing exactly what day he would be here, but the recovery time and the idea of being cut open make me sick to my stomach to even think about. I really want my VBAC, and I'm scared it's not going to work out again.

i haven't done the course but a lot of girls talk about the fear release portions being really helpful. i think it's important to acknowledge your fears and be able to work through them as they come up.
