When we are ready to have the next baby they will be born at home.DH kind of brought it up again last night so I confronted him about it rather than just letting him touch on the subject a little bit and he is completely on board even though it means paying out of pocket. He learned yesterday the insurance wont change next year, which is awesome in most things because they cover EVERYTHING medical other than a home birth. They even cover ambulance rides and the stuff most insurance wont cover with hospital things. But he told me last night that if it means getting the birth we want he will be willing to pay the $2000 for it.
First we need to get rid of our $4000 credit card debt though. Most of it I think we can pay with our tax return next year though. He also wants to set up a "baby birth" account so we can start putting money into it. I'M SO FETCHING EXCITED!!!!!!!

Yay! It is so exciting to have DH on board. Woot!
Total side note-- if you are expecting that much of a return next year-- go and change his withholding so that you get that money NOW. There is no need to keep pre-paying so much tax. $4K/year is more than an extra $400/month in your pocket. You could pay that bill down before spring. Just sayin'...play with the number of dependents on his withholding and get more money home.....GL!
That is such exciting news, I know how much you've wanted this.
Oh Yay for you! I'm so very happy for you (and incredibly jealous!) Yay for Happy births!

Thanks gals! I knew you guys would share in my excitement. Most everyone else doesn't quite understand why I would risk doing a home birth.![]()
Audra- DH claims me and DS1 on his taxes but we didn't claim William hoping for a larger tax return. We aren't sure hoe much we are getting back and I highly doubt it will be 4k. I'm thinking it's most likely going to be around $2500. We usually only get about $1500 every year. That would at least help us pay off one credit card and make a good payment on the second card. I don't know why DH needed to get the stupid water softener, that's why we have the second card, he likes the soft water but he told me that getting the softener was a stupid move on his part. Believe it or not DH can admit when he makes a stupid choice, most of the time.
Jenn- I do want this so bad.Oh and you totally inspired me with the sarong. I'm so going to make one for my next birth! lol.
