Default Maybe someone is trying to drop hints...

For the past at least 2 months basically everyone who knows us or sees us on a fairly regular basis has either asked us if we are pregnant yet or if we are going to be giving our little boys a little sister soon. It's ALWAYS a sister, or girl, that is mentioned.

Today while I was leaving Walmart the sweet old lady greeter asked my DS1 if he wanted a little sister. He responded with a yes. lol. I'm not sure he knew what he was saying yes to for sure sense he is just a little over 2 1/2 years old, but maybe he does, IDK.

I just think it's ironic that so many people have asked us the exact same thing.

I think it's something about having more than one boy. I keep getting asked if we're going to try for a girl... when I'm very obviously pregnant with our third boy.
GL. I hope it works out and you soon find yourself pregnant with a little girl!

Isn't it funny how people assume that everyone wants a child of each gender? I'd actually prefer to have all the same...only because I'm cheap and then I can reuse clothes.

We are planning on 4 kids so I would love to have 2 of each. I think that would be perfect! Right now we are trying our hand a NFP but not really religiously so if we get pregnant that will be fine. So I guess it's more of not trying not preventing but avoiding the day(s) close or of ovulation. I'm not sure I want another winter baby so I'm kind of hoping we don't get pregnant till we actually start trying in June.

Aww! I sure hope you get your pinky girl when it's time!

I think it's amazing how many comments we get on "Ooohhh good! It's a boy! One of each!"

I just smile. But honestly, we are hoping for a lot more of each!

I agree, it's funny how people make assumptions on what gender you want. In your case, they've been right because you do want a little girl. But in my case, people assumed I wanted a girl since I already had a boy. I actually had one lady at work say to me "that sucks" when I told her we found out it was a boy. My response was simply, "we're excited." I couldn't imagine anything more perfect than my two little boys, close in age, being able to play and grow up together. Not to mention, I had just dealt with a m/c and a ton of bleeding during that particular pregnancy, so I was just thrilled to have a healthy baby of either gender.

I love having two boys so close in age and I think it would be perfect to have girls the same. Though it would have been nice to have one of each I still think it will be fun to have the boys together. But if it's another boy, I will be thrilled! I love my boys and not to toot my own horn but they still the show any time we go anywhere with them.
