Yesterday was a horrible day, aside from meeting my midwife. It took me 2+ hours to get to her house due to a horrible traffic accident on the interstate. I knew I couldn't be late and still get all my time with her because she had another appointment. So, what should have been an hour turned into 25 minutes, but thankfully I got all my questions answered. I was really comfortable about her, and she had such a calming presence about her that I think it will be a real benefit during labor! So now it looks like every concern I had about going into labor 1)running into bad traffic like last night 2)not having anyone to look after Evan, etc, will be solved since we're staying home! I'm so excited. Now I just have to come up with the money. She told me to just figure out how much we can pay a month, even if it goes well past when the baby is born, and she's fine with it.
Aside from the time it took you to get there, I'm glad that you liked her and your concerns have been answered.

Glad to hear it went well, despite the traffic and that's great that you guys can work out the payment part... that's one big reason why I love midwives
I'm glad you liked your MW so well. That is great that you felt so comfortable with her and that you can work out a payment plan.
