MRI of live birth

Fascinating! http://www.ajog.org/article/PIIS0002937812000233/fulltext

...although I'm glad she managed it for science, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to give birth in an MRI machine!

No freaking way! That just blew my mind. Its so amazing how you could see the first contraction moving baby down and then the second begin to push baby out. SO freaking cool!

TFS!

I heard about this, but just now got around to watching it. Very cool. Smile

I wish they hadn't sped it up quite so much... that's 45 minutes condensed into 30 seconds. It would be fascinating to watch in real time, I wonder if/hope they will release that version. Did anyone else read the entire article? I loved how they were talking about different theories over the past hundred or so years & which ones were supported by the findings of this MRI study.
