Natural method to deal with rib pain?
I'm not a drug taking person usually. I avoid even Tylenol unless I'm desperate.
Even though I'm only 22 weeks, I'm dying with rib pain especially on the left. I can't get in and out of a chair/bed with out a lot of pain. Coughing hurts and even just sitting hurts. The only time I feel good is after I've slept braless for 8 hours and before I get up. As soon as I have a shower and I'm standing for 15 minutes, the pain comes back. As soon as I come home from work I strip off anything restrictive and down to just a tshirt, no bra, and comfy pants.
Today I started crying after I got out of the shower because I don't know how I can do this for another 4 months! I'm hoping that eventually baby will pop outwards more and give a bit of relief, but I don't know when that will be.
I just feel so useless too because of it. It's taking me forever to do anything. Getting to/from work is a nightmare this week as I'm on early shift which means a 2 hour commute on 1 train and 2 buses to get home.
Is there ANYTHING I can do to help it? It's mostly the tips/ends of the ribs in the area under each breast that is the worst. Maybe ice packs nightly (as pretty as that sounds!)
