Anyone else have a baby born with broken blood vessels in their eyes? Just wondering how long it takes for that to resolve. Quinn had a fair bit of bruising and has broken blood vessels in both eyes from the super fast birth. The bruising is quickly resolving, but the broken blood vessels aren't yet.

Yes. My 4th son had some in both of his eyes as well, his birth was fast & he had bruising on his face too. I can't remember at this point (he is 5) how long it took, less than a week I believe but I could be wrong. Either way it did eventually go away![]()

No that's fine! His eyes are still pretty bloodshot, but considering how red they were, I figure it'll take a bit more time. I figure I'll give it a couple weeks before I start worrying.

Sorry Amber, only just getting to post.
Both DD1 (traumatic forceps delivery) and DD2 (rapid birth) had this...I am fairly sure it only lasted a couple of weeks. I can't see any evidence in photos beyond this point?
DD3 (Tessa - twin 1) also has this at the moment. Her little sister doesn't despite a rapid birth but she didn't have any pressure to go against when she came out as Tessa had cleared the wayso I guess that is the reason why?
HTH?
