Default sad news and advice needed (loss ment.)

I had a m/c last night. My baby was 14 weeks, and I had just heard the hb yesterday. Took me totally of guard. I guess I won't be sticking around here.

I do need some advice, though. I figured that some of you BN mommas might have some advice on how to build back your blood supply after a hemorrhage. I lost a lot of blood, and I can feel it. Every time I stand up, I feel dizzy. I've been drinking a lot of water. Any other advice? Supplements?

So so sorry for your lose! Sending prayers! Get some natural iron pills. I use Hemaplex. It should build your blood level back up.

Thanks. I'll try that. I was trying to think of some foods that are high in iron. Red meat is supposed to be really high, but I don't have a lot of it around.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.

Dark, leafy greens and beans are also high in iron. Here's a list of the top ten, along with a good tip about absorption: http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/t...ron-rich-foods

Thanks, Ladies. I have been drinking plenty of fluids, including Gatorade for the electrolytes, and I feel tons better already. I went to the health food store and bought a "blood builder" supplement that contains all natural iron, calcium, B-12 and folic acid. I will be taking those in addition to eating as much iron rich food as I can. I am sorry I have to go. I was looking forward to hanging with you all for the next 6 months.

I'm so sorry too. Don't have any extra advice.
