I just set up the anatomy/gender ultra sound today for September 6th. The day is going to drag by as the appointment is in the evening. Ahhh!!! I can't believe it's getting that close though! I'm so ready to get through the first half of this pregnancy as it's just seemed to be moving at turtle speed. I love being pregnant but the first half of pregnancy is just so boring for me! I'm ready for the fun part to get here already! lol. Anyway, this may sound silly but after having 2 boys I'm really hoping and praying for my little baby girl! We'll see what the Lord sees fit to bless us with though. I'll be happy either way as I do love my little boys to death!

lol...I can't believe it is *me* who is waiting to be surprised about the gender at the birth. If my four-year-younger self heard it, she wouldn't believe it. I think it is easier for me to do it since I have one of each. DH and I both had the idea to wait separately and both thought the other wouldn't go for it! I'm excited for you to find out and I hope this one is a girl!

I was as far along as you are right now when I found out the gender of this baby, and it's still a boy lol! I went to one of those elective 3D places, and it was a lot of fun (besides hearing that it was another boy lol!)... good luck though, I really hope you get your princess! I did my third time around!

I could find out as early as 16 weeks but I can't afford to do it and with it that close to the anatomy scan anyway I decided to wait. I feel selfish for wanting my little girl especially after having such cute little boys, and I know I will be happy if I get blessed with another little boy, I've just always had that yearning for a little girl to dress up in dresses and bows. Doesn't help that out of 9 nieces and nephews there are only 2 girls and they are 9 and 7. My family seriously needs some more pink and I'm really needing my pink fix. lol.

SO completley understand. This is our 7th baby & we have 1 girl in the mix & she was the first girl for anyone - up to that point all the grandkids were boys. My sister had a girl last year so now there are two in the mix lol Boys really are so, so sweet - and I'm excited to meet this new son of mine, but I really do understand wanting a daughter or two & I don't think there is anything wrong or unusual with that want![]()

I agree. I think it's normal for those of us who have (or use to have like Chimmy) all of one sex to wish for the opposite. I have five girls and zero boys and I'd love a son because I always wanted at least one of each.I got my IUD out this week to TTC baby #6. I'd love a little boy to complete our family (dh is done, done, done after this).
