I started spotting on Saturday. I am 8w today. They did an u/s and can't find a cause coming from my uterus. I think the prometrium is irritating me. Regardless this is how my loss in May started so I am slightly freaking out. I realize that it is common, but it never happened with the other kids. Encouraging words welcome. This is kind of why I was mia. Sad thing is that is started on dh's birthday.I feel bad for him.

I've been there and for me it's gone one way (a m/c in Feb/07) and the other (I'm now 16 weeks). With this pregnancy, I actually bled very heavily in the beginning. I was certain I'd miscarried. But somehow this little one hung in there. I hope this is the case with yours as well.![]()

I'm sorry you're going through this, Christy. I had bleeding in my 1st pregnancy, (none in my second)--I know it's really scary, and I imagine it's even worse when you've just been through a loss. Sticky vibes and P&PT comiing your way.

Sooo sorry you have to worry about this! My spotting only went the wrong way, but my SIL had very heavy bleeding around 7 or 8 weeks with her first and he came out just fine (and no bleeding with her others). Try your best to stay relaxed and positive...I'm guessing from your post that the u/s did show a healthy pg in there other than the spotting, so hang on to that!
Major sticky vibes, it goes without saying.
Lots and lots of sticky vibes for you!!!
Oops yeah sorry baby measured right on track and heartbeat was 172. So baby looked good. I forgot to put that in my original post.
Thanks everyone. I am trying to stay positive. Has anyone tried a natural progesterone cream instead of the suppositories?

I'm sorry hunBased on your prometrium comment, are you struggling with low prog? If so, have you thought of switching to a natural prog supplement? Prometrium never did help me, I finally found a midwife who ordered some natural prog suppositories that were made via a compound pharmacy. They worked REALLY well - the snail trail was no fun, but I believe it's what allowed my now 4.5yr old son to make it through the pregnancy. ((((giant hugs)))) for you mama.

That's stress I didn't want for you. Boo to the bleeding, I hope it resolves and doesn't come back! Amen to a healthy baby, though

glad to hear baby is measuring on track and has a strong heartbeat...that is always reassuring to hear. though even knowing that, I know spotting still makes you worrisome. I had spotting with this pregnancy with no known reason, and it resolved within a couple weeks...either an annoyed cervix or just the placenta being down low at the beginning were their explanations for mine.sending sticky vibes your way!
I have struggled with low progesterone with all my pregnancies. With Samantha (my first) I didn't use prometrium. I used something else. It was waxy and I had to get it at a special pharmacy. I wonder if that is what you used. I have an appt on Thursday. I will ask the doc about it
