I'm so excited.. I've been bad about talking to DF about birth and baby because I really didn't know where he stood on stuff.. Well we talked tonight and he's fine with the HB. Says that he trusts me to know whats best and safe for me and baby. Just wanted to have baby checked out by a doc to make sure everything is ok.. which i told him that the pedi will do that usually within the first week or so anyway. I thought he was going to argue with me that its not safe, but he didn't even flinch. He joked about me having the bebe in the bath tub and i said yeah pretty much.. though you rent tubs. lol

I also commented on the cloth diapers and he was saying how he was fine with it, but was told that it really wasn't cheaper etc so kinda nixed the idea.. (guess this was a while ago.. not sure) So that only leaves a few things to talk to him about.. Cir'c and vax.. I don't want to do either and may consider a delayed vax schedule but chances are he won't care since he sees how healthy my dd is never having had vaxing (I currently have my first cold of the season and she's yet to get anything--yay!)

I'm set to move april 5th and can't wait. Just wanted to share in my excitement.

heh, yeah I had no idea he would be.. otherwise i would have mentioned it a month ago when I hired the HB MW up there.. lol

About the CD - are you planning on any more kids? Cause it definitely is cheaper if you're having more than one, and you can also start searching online and kids used clothes stores for used ones, and often batches of brand new at used prices! Just a thought.

No this is the last one.. I lied and told him that some were from DD (which is somewhat true) and that some I bought new.. (i bought all of them new. only thing i had from dd was a few NB covers that someone here gave me years ago) I bought all my size smalls already (and prefolds) and just need mediums for when baby grows into them. And by that point i'm hoping that he'll be used to it by then that he won't care about spending 100 dollars or so on what we need then. I also want to start making my own covers once I move. I think it'll be fun and that it'll give me something else to do.

I'm so glad you found out how he really feels!! Cloth diapers is fun, but I know it has actually ended up being just as expensive for us.....more if you count the wool, then again I don't have to buy any pants so it may even out I'm excited to follow your story!
