Thoughts on 5-W or PN6?

Has anyone taken them? Had success or problems with them? Do your MWs recommend a certain product?

They are products you take in the last several weeks of pregnancy and after pregnancy to support healthy glandular function. When I was researching, some women swore they made their labors faster and less painful...they contain a mixture of RRL, Black Cohosh, and other herbs. They supposedly help with after pains and pp bleeding too.

Never heard of them.

I took RRL and alfalfa for the last few weeks of each pg....but really nothing beyond that. Good luck!

I've heard of both but never taken either - I just do rrlt, nettle & a calcium/magnesium liquid supplement. I do know other who have taken it & they seem to be effective supplements.

I think I may just stick with the RRL/Nettle/Alfalfa tea combo I have and my Magnesium and Calcium. Those seem to be the most common herbs and supplements used anyway. The cohosh makes me nervous. I'd hate to have unnecessary prodromal labor from it.

I think my mw has recommended 5-W... I only think that b/c I've heard of it before. But I forget when and how much... and I think I only did rrl and epo.
