Well - it's offical!

I'm now a CPES - Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist via PBi (placentabenefits.info). I'm setting my listing up tonight & ordering everything I need. Having already been in the practice of encapsulating placenta's for the last year I have anything that is required (to do the actual encapsulation) but it's nice to be certified - they also offer grape & berry capsules for our clients which is kinda cool lol Smile

That is really cool. Congrats on being official!

It's really neat to see something come out more & more that even just a few years ago was really looked at as disgusting & unheard of. Tamra (Modern Mother here at PO) was asked if she wanted to keep her placenta & they were also talking about encapsulation - I thought that was neat. I'm doing her placenta right now. Although the funny part is that she had to sign a waive in order to take it & on it it said that you'd not eat it LOL doh.

yay, chimmy! very cool that you are certified. I've never wanted to do placentaphagy, but conversations here have made me more interested in it. I might do it next time (though convincing DH would be a chore...he finds the idea quite disturbing, but of course, HE wouldn't be the one eating it)

Congrats!

Would you know anything about the benefits of eating placenta raw vs cooked? And where there may be research for it? (see placentotrophy thread)
