YAY for Hypnobabies!

I just called in and was able to order a used copy of Hypnobabies!!! It was so easy and the lady was SOOOO nice. Smile She even told me that I could sell it back to them for almost as much as I'm paying for it. It's just SO amazing...and way less expensive than eBay was going to be. Thank you all for your info about the used copies of Hypnobabies...I'm so excited to get started! :woohoo:

Yeah! That's fantastic! After finding out that you can order a used copy from them I think that is what I'm going to do also. I'm only 8 and a half weeks now and I don't want to start using it too early, but you girls are getting me soooooo excited to start it!!!

I need to get on it myself today. I'm glad you had no trouble ordering a used copy. Did you have to give out financial info to prove that you "need" a discount?

I started my first class at 12 weeks. I am taking two weeks to complete one class. Then, after you complete all 5 classes, there is a maintenance portion to continue doing until your birth. I think there is a lot of information provided that is important for early in your pregnancy, like nutrition, and affirmations. If you are ready, don't wait!! It makes such a difference Biggrin

I agree that it's never too early to start. I will be getting it just in time with about 10 weeks to learn and practice. They say you need at least 2-3 months.

I would go ahead and order your used copy...the lady told me that they only have a limited supply and that they're going fast. Just my two cents! Good luck!

The answer to this question is no. They don't ask. I actually didn't know that the used copies were supposed to be for people with financial need when I bought mine.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is that some women get kind of "burned out" from the daily practice before the end if they start really early and loose the motivation to keep practicing once they're not learning anything new. It is important to keep practicing daily after you complete the program so that the skills will be fresh for the birth.

This link explains a great schedule for starting early that postpones the more intense stuff for later, to avoid the "burned out" problem: http://www.pregnancybirthandbabies.com/when_to_start_hypnobabies.htm
