My baby boy is 4 weeks old as of yesterday *snif snif* I'm so sad. How can it be that it's been 4 weeks since my little man burst into this world and made me the luckiest momma in the world?!

He's doing great btw! He sleeps wonderfully most of the time, of course he wakes up to nurse but since he's sleeping right next to me on the bed we barely wake up to nurse. He has a hard time falling asleep sometimes but daddy is wonderful at rocking him for however long he needs it.

Noah and I are doing great. It's not a fairy tale around here though. I have been at it without a break for months now and I'm getting desperate for some time away from my kids. If I never get away from them how am I ever supposed to miss them?! Obviously I know I'm not going to get away from Noah, which is fine, but man, I could really use some time to myself! The middle two have been fighting so bad lately, it's getting quite ridiculous and I'm just at wits end with everything so I'm short tempered with them.

Wish I had more time to catch up with everyone but gotta get the laundry done (I'm drowning in dirty clothes!).

Yeah, the staining annoyed me too!! Addy wasn't much of a spitter upper so I just learned to hold a washcloth under her chin while I was actually giving it to her, but once she swallowed and drooled for a minute, we were more or less in the clear. I feel like I WAS able to get it out, though...but I don't remember how :/

DH ended up driving home last night and then back up there this morning. He could tell I was exhausted when I talked to him so he came home. It's a darn good thing too as DS1 ended up getting a stomach bug and threw up all over my couch and rug. Had DH been out of town that could easily have been the end of the line for my coping ability. Hope you eventually get a break from your middle two. Sounds like some time away from them will help you mentally quite a bit!

DH was gone last night and I was a bit worried about being here alone with all 4 kids but it went great. Noah likes daddy to rock him to sleep at night but he tolerated me.

My MIL watched the middle two last night so I could go to DD1's ballgame. I needed that, I'm much happier to see them today :)

4 weeks? 4 weeks?! How? Jeez time flies. Sounds like he's doing really well and he is so adorable. I hope things get easier with your rowdy bunch.

I've so so so enjoyed following you through this pregnancy and this most amazing birth. You really rocked the whole thing and have a perfect and beautiful little boy to show for it. Don't you go disappearing now that your lodge is done!

He is such a cutie!!! Glad you got a little break from your older two. Hopefully you can get a couple more of those sometime soon.

The major remodel is over Erin so I should at least have a few minutes in the evening to (fingers crossed) catch up on our chat thread. I miss that the most!

Happy October! He's probably 6 weeks by now! How are things settling with the middle two? Any new photos?

We have some good and bad days here but I feel like they are starting to settle into some sort of consistency.
