Had my 39 week appt today...it was pretty disappointing. I haven't made any further progress in the last 2 weeks. I am still 1 cm dilated and baby still feels high. DR asked me if I wanted to be put on the calendar for induction and I told him I am not ready for that. I have another appointment in a week where I will be booked if she has come by then. I am beginning to get quite frustrated. It seems that nothing I do helps to bring her down. I am sitting on my birth ball, walking/running 30 minutes a day, etc.
Loved reading your stories and I give you credit for letting them get you on the gurney. I'm not so sure I would have been that nice. I hope you make some progress soon and meet your little girl before the next appointment. Remember things can change very quickly so stay positive.

I loved reading the rest of your birth stories! What wonderful deliveries you have had. I can't imagine how awesome it must be to finally be having your girl. I love that you've been able to go with your intuition on expanding your family.

Christa just suggested to Alison to try belly wrapping! Maybe that would encourage baby girl to move down some?
Had some good contractions last night that kept waking me up. Then today nothing. Ugh. I hate feeling like a "watched pot" everyone keeps saying "no baby yet", calling, texting, etc. I just want to be left alone. Do they really think I wouldn't tell them I have had the baby!??!

There was a thread started on the Sept board on Sept 6 that said Janae was in labor, so hopefully she's home enjoying her baby girl by now!.
