Good to hear you're feeling better!
Yes! Still not feeling too shabby!
Also, I can feel him rolling into a different position! Ugh! I hope it's not for the worse! I typically have his butt right under my left ribs and his feet kicking out my right side, but the last few days, his feet have been popping up under my left ribs where his butt usually is! It would figure! He's been LOA for weeks and weeks, and now he's shifting. I hope it's not into some crazy position that prevents a natural birth! I have an anterior placenta (top of uterus and down over the right side), so it does make finding him over there somewhat hard. Also, I had a few BH's yesterday that I could "feel" in my crotch. That's something new, too. He had hiccups yesterday that were right down low in the center vs. off along my left hip like they normally are, plus I've been feeling hands (I think) way down low right above my vagina, almost.
Hm! I wonder how he has himself in there?! I'm going to try some belly-mapping soon.
So glad to hear you're feeling better!!! YAY!!!!

I seriously believe that chiropractic services should be part of the routine prenatal care along with labs & ultrasounds & all that. We'd have a healthier, happier mom giving birth. Imagine how low the c-section rate could be if nearly every mom's baby was in primo position before labor began, or how much less miserable moms would be at the end?

Yay for chiro care! I'm glad you feel good. I go myself in a few days....and always feel better post-adjustment.
Funny how they can still move themselves in there, eh? My LO has been LOA for weeks, too, but there are days when I'll feel him shift center or almost ROA, but they he manages to get himself back to LOA. It is still wild to me how his feet stick out on the right side. So weird!!!

So glad the chiro helped you, woot for being pain free! What did your belly mapping show?
How are you feeling? What did you discover with the belly mapping?

I discovered nothing with the belly mapping! I couldn't figure it out! I think it's because my placenta is right in front here, so I can't figure it out! So I asked my OB today since I had my 38 week appointment. He is ROA, so he's on the opposite side of what he was on for so long (kind of like yours, Audra!).
My appointment went well! BP was 108/68, urine was good, baby's HR in the 140's, weight still creeping up because of all this water weight (ugh!). I had my first check today, too. I declined last week, but curiosity won out this time. I am 1cm and 60% effaced at this point. But, who knows what that means, right?! At least we're headed in the right direction! She said my cervix was coming anterior and she could feel his head, which is AWESOME! One chiro appointment and he's off my pubic bone and into my pelvis (I assume, at least, since she can feel his head during a check?!). I don't think he's engaged, which I'm not too worried about, I'm just happy to hear it sounds like he's dropped into the brim!
I had another chiro appointment this morning after my OB appointment. I feel so good. The best I've felt in weeks! She really is amazing. And she's awesome, too! She had her son a year ago. She attempted a homebirth, but he just didn't want to come out, so she got transferred to the hospital I'm delivering at. She said her experience was great there, and that of course, he came out 15minutes after getting there! Anyhow, she's really nice and it's been great talking to her about natural childbirth and tips and the like. She even gave me the number of a great LC in the area.
So yeah, good appointments today! I spotted after my check, and had some cramps and contractions for a while. Blah! Those checks are so uncomfortable! I never got that far with my DS, so now I know how terrible they are! I had a few while I was in labor with him, but I was in labor so I don't remember it being *that* bad. I don't know if I want to do it again!
What do you think, ladies? Will I make it to my 39 week appointment next week? I asked my OB, but she wouldn't guess.
