Sounds like things have been going well overall and you've been able to get some fun days in with the kids (how awesome to have such a rewarding library! I love seeing kids read) despite DH's comment about the homebirth thing. I am keeping everything crossed for you that the pressure is a good sign that baby's flipped and will stay that way.
How awesome to have all the big stuff accomplished for baby's arrival.
Thanks Mia! I really hope baby has flipped. I will find out tomorrow at my 38 week appointment.
My midwife left on vacation yesterday and will be gone until this next Sunday so if I go into labor this week I will have another midwife from the office. I am meeting one of the other midwifes tomorrow who will do my exam for me this week, and I hope I like her. I have met the third midwife before and didn't really gel with her very well. So I hope this other one is good and if she ends up delivering my baby, it will work out. At first, I was nervous about not having my midwife there, but I am feeling better about it if something happens before she gets back. I am just so ready to have this baby I don't care when I go into labor at this point.
I am just so nervous about my appointment tomorrow. I really hope I get good news about baby's position. But I am still concerned about the level of amniotic fluid I have. I would like to decrease it somewhat if I can by taking something. If I have so much then baby won't be able to put pressure on my cervix and I won't dilate and then could possibly go a lot lot longer before starting labor, and I want to avoid that.
I also was able to get in with my uncle tomorrow who is a chiropractor. He will sneak me in quickly after lunch and try the Webster Technique adjustment on me. I hope it helps.
Today I braved the heat and sat outside in the shade for a bit so the kids could play in the front yard. Feels so good to be back inside though.

*EXPECTING OUR UNPLANNED SURPRISE...BABY #5....NOT SURE WHEN MY DUE DATE IS YET*
Curious if any of you ladies have heard of Milkies Milk Savers? And if so, where did you purchase them and how have they worked for you? Another gal from my August BB mentioned them and said they are great, and I had never heard of them before but after looking into them, I think it looks great!!
I really want to purchase one now as I think it will be very useful and a great way to catch and save my excess milk instead of wasting it, and also saving money on washing as many towels and buying as many nursing pads. Its a great way to get that extra milk for the freezer instead of it just leaking into a pad or towel. I don't pump too much as I don't have to work away from home, but to have some milk on hand in the freezer would be great. Anyway, just wondered if any of you have used them and what are your thoughts on them?....

Good luck today at your appt! I so hope baby has flipped for you but if not it's still not too late so stay calm okay!? Have a good chiro appt today too!
I have heard of the milk saver things, I've never used them but do think they would be very handy. I have to make a run to our local baby boutique to pick up some diaper inserts for DD2 and I should probably look at the milk savers while I'm there (thanks for the reminder). They're something I've thought about looking in to but didn't know anyone that used them so I don't know much about how well they work but like you said, they sound like a really good idea. hmmm....
Thanks for the links Christa! Your positive words and encouragement really help. I appreciate it.
As far as the milk savers go, I looked them up on Amazon and the reviews for them are all great, so I definitely want to get one. You can get a kit on amazon that includes a nice case so the bag can be carried in the diaper bag without leaking, ripping, etc. I think that is where I am going to get mine.

*EXPECTING OUR UNPLANNED SURPRISE...BABY #5....NOT SURE WHEN MY DUE DATE IS YET*
Okay ladies, my 38 week appointment is this morning. I am so nervous. Wish me luck! I was talking to DH last night and said if baby is still breech at this appointment despite all my efforts this past week, I don't know how I will feel. I will feel like just breaking down, but I need to try and stay positive.
This is so important to me...delivering naturally and vaginally and bringing our baby into this world safely and healthily are so important to me. I really hope I get that chance. I have to kill some time after my appt. before my chiro appt. but hope that whatever my uncle can do for me and tell me will help also. I will ask him about the supplement Christa is taking cause if that can help reduce my excessive amniotic fluid, I am all for it.
I will update later today when I get back home. Hope I have good news to share.
