Wow, congrats! Every birth story seems like a little miracle to me, I am always so amazed. Sounds like an awesome birth and welcome to the world little Lukus! Nighttime is always hard, but it gets better. He'll sort it out. He just wants to be awake playing with his brothers

DH's mom has been taking the older two boys and DH as been home the past week and a half too. I haven't had to do hardly anything but tend to Lukus. DH goes back to work tomorrow though and I am on my own. I'll let you know how it is with 3 then.

Yep, Lukus has reflux. I figured it would probably happen as all my babies so far have had it but kept *hoping* he wouldn't end up with it. The last week has been a nightmare! He screams in pain and spits up every time I feed him and was even starting to fuss while feeding him cause his tummy was bothering him. Nothing I did would help and he would just have to scream till he fell asleep. We are going on maybe a couple hours of sleep all night every night for the past week. Momma is worn out, Lukus is warn out, and daddy is warn out. We had his 2 week check up yesterday and explained the symptoms to the pedi and she agreed that it sounded like reflux. She wanted us to try all the non-medical treatments before putting him on meds till we told her we already were and if anything he has just been getting worse. So he is now on generic form of prevacid. He had his first dose last night and I'm hoping that it starts working soon because I am ready to have my happy chill baby back. When his tummy isn't bothering him he really is the cutest most chill baby. The poor little guy got circed yesterday too. He wasn't happy at all yesterday but he seems a little better today. Oh and he is up to 5#1oz so basically back up to birth weight! I think if he didn't have the reflux issues he probably would have been back up to birth weight if not a little past his birth weight.

I hope you get your sweet little baby boy back! DD2 had reflux, she did really good with me taking probiotics while nursing her, they really helped her but I know they don't help every baby.

I've heard chiropractic adjustments can work wonders for reflux.

I am actually looking at having him adjusted. We have a chiro here that I have heard does babies under a year old for free. I just need to wait till Monday to try and get a hold of him. :-\
