You must be so tired of being pregnant! I hope your LO comes soon!
DS 1 b. 1/19/09, DS 2 b. 1/12/11, DS 3 b. 3/3/13
My DS was 42 weeks exactly. Then it was very quick after that!
Enjoy your knitting & such.
Ivy, Leo and Forrest - May 2013
My midwives will attend a home birth up until 42 weeks, which is fast approaching. I have an appointment with them tomorrow, I imagine we'll have some things to discuss. One thing I want to bring up is the accuracy of my "due date" - I have long cycles, so I'm hoping we can push back my date and buy me an extra week before I risk out of home birth.
No NSTs, since my midwives are home based and not medical, I don't have access to that sort of stuff unless I went to an OB. And around here, I think as soon as I told them I was overdue and a VBAC (despite the fact I've already had one successful VBAC) they'd be wheeling me into the OR before I could blink.
Hopefully your appointment tomorrow goes well. Will they do anything to induce naturally?
Megan / SO Mike / Jack - Feb 9, 2010 / LO expected late March 2013
Appointment went well. They think my dates are probably just off, since I tend to have longer cycles anyway and my actual due date is probably just closer to March 1ish. As long as baby and I are both healthy, we're going to just keep waiting. Heartbeat was 135 today, baby is very reactive and measuring just right. My BP was good. So we're doing fine!
We've tried walking, spicy food, DTD, pineapple, red raspberry leaf tea, and probably other stuff I've forgotten. But it must not be time yet because none of it's done anything so far.![]()
