I've gone to three stores and checked the websites of two more...I just ordered the skullcap online since that's less time sensitive and I really need a good brand for it, too (cheap skullcap has been mixed up with other herbs before...it's only safe in pregnancy if you get it from a reputable source). May call a couple of places about the pulsatilla...although if baby is head down, not sure if I need it? I guess it won't hurt either way, since it's just a mild uterine relaxant...right?

Maybe if she's head down you shouldn't mess with anything. You want her staying that way!

Right? That's what I told DH last night when he started badgering me about doing inversions.

Maybe try some belly binding at the top so she doesn't have room to flip around anymore! If you want pulsatilla, I know I can get the homeopathic version tomorrow because I'll be driving right past the store to & from soccer. I can drop it in the mail to you. If you want the herbal, I'm sure I could get it somewhere here but not until Monday. Let me know & send me a PM with your mailing address.

Awesome that she is head down! Keep doing g what you're doing. Hopefully the bigger she gets she runs out of room and hangs out like that til her birthday. Isn't it crazy that stores don't sell things anymore? I couldn't find gentian violet anywhere when we had thrush. And other random things too.

Is your daughter excited to be a big sister? Will she be at the birth?

Thank you so much! I finally found the homeopathic pulsatilla on Saturday (nick of time!) and started taking it. She is STILL not staying head down, though, and now has 24 hours until they're going to force the issue. I am hearing scary things about how painful versions are, and I really, really would prefer for her to just do what she's supposed to do, for numerous reasons....AAAAAAH.

The good part is that this whole business did kick in some nesting, finally, and I spent the weekend getting Ready For Baby. Aside from normal housecleaning and hanging up a shelf to account for the fact that I no longer have a bedside table, we are DONE. Crib is up, swing is up, car seat is installed, hospital bag is packed, diapers and clothes organized and ready...nothing to mentally stand in the way at all now. I'm not done with everything I need to do at work, but if I suddenly had to be out they'd totally be able to manage at this point.

So, baby: YOU HAVE 24 HOURS. GET DOWN AND STAY THAT WAY.

It's so frustrating...last night I took my pulsatilla and did an inversion for 10 minutes, and after that I really felt like she was down--feeling low pressure in the right place and everything. But when I woke up this morning, she was transverse again. I do have my chiropractic appointment this afternoon, and one more night to do my herbs and inversions...cross your fingers for me!

Elizabeth: I don't really want DD at the birth because I'm a pretty private birther and really don't want a lot of extra people in the room--especially not one I have to worry about (even if there are other people there handling her) so she will stay with my mom and they will come over as soon as we give her the green light. I *am* excited, though, that she and my mom are planning to come with us to the ultrasound tomorrow, and then my mom will take her to school while we go deal with the version, if we have to. I think it will be really cool for her to get to see that.

Sending you lots of head-down vibes. I hope she's in the right place for you tomorrow. Good luck.

Thank you! I'm actually feeling like she's vertical again right now (which way, no idea, but I don't feel any body parts sideways, and I'm nauseous again, which is a weird thing to be happy about but happens every time she gets near my stomach) so...hoping.

Leigh, a version is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but I didn't find mine overly painful. The doctor who did mine said that he would have quit long before he did because I handled it well and I have a very low pain threshold. Not to say it didn;t hurt at all, but there are worse things. I put my headphones on and zoned out
