So sorry you are feeling poorly, but I do think water is often a really good solution for that.
I so enjoyed seeing your blanket! You should share it with the Threads & Yarns forum!

Thanks, I'll be sure to head over there. I love sharing projects and seeing what others are doing. :D I agree that water is a great remedy. upping my water intake and rest are always high on my priority list when I have lots of contractions. I'm up to almost 64 oz so far. Still having BH frequently but they're still not patterned or getting more intense so that's reassuring.
Water is always good. Pregnant/nursing/in general... it's always good to drink lots of water, but I did find that lots of water helped with BH's.
I am terrible at keeping hydrated. It is the last thing on my mind when I am busy.
That blanket is beautiful! I wish I had the patience and attention span to learn to knot and/or crochet.
I think little man got a bit too inspired by Jackie's super VBAC yesterday because I ended up going into the office to see the on call MW because my contractions kept coming . Most are just crampy BH but I've had a few "real" ones mixed in with a good amount of pressure and cervix pain. He's still head down and I was surprised at how much it hurt when she was trying to feel his head. I'm still somewhat posterior and she didn't think my effacement changed from 32 weeks (around 50%). She said I"m 1 cm which she said can be normal for subsequent pregnancies. So long as he doesn't come early, I'm happy about the dilation as it will make the induction so much easier.
She also did an NST and ordered more labs for the ICP as I"ve been itcher. I'm glad I didn't have to request the blood work. My only concern at this point besides possible PTL is if my levels get into the dangerous zone. She also did GBS as I"m 35 weeks tomorrow though I know those results aren't always accurate for the upcoming induction.
I appreciate her doing the NST today to save me an appointment, but it will put 6 days between them instead of the standard 3-4 so I'm just going to be monitoring him more closely.
I forgot to mention it to the MW but I think I pulled a muscle in my thigh. Anyone know of anything besides a compress or stretches that might help?
That's smart that you went in, just in case. I hope all the labs come back great! How are you feeling now?
I'm doing okay. Still pretty uncomfortable, but I think a lot of that has to do with my body being tired from the long day. DD played with my dad while I was at my appointment so she didn't take a nap. That should make bed time easy. :) As much as I want to get housework done, I'm not doing anything until tomorrow as we were just going to have left overs for dinner anyway. I don't want to end up going back for nothing.
Yes, get plenty of rest. I hope that you feel much better tomorrow. :)
Rest up lady. Seems like your body will play along nicely to deliver in 2 weeks.
DH was a little freaked when I told him I still felt about the same when I woke up (though my worst contractions have slowed greatly). I'm interviewing a girl I went to high school with for a babysitting position today. It's just for the rest of my NSTs (next week and half of the week after) and on occasion after that. She's a nice girl and has an LNA certification and lots of siblings so I'm feeling pretty comfortable about it overall. This would be the first time DD would be watched by someone who isn't family but it had to happen sometime. If all goes well it will be nice to have someone to use for doctors appointments for the littlest one in the future.
I did get a little worried last night when little man's kick counts took me just over an hour to do. The reference sheet the office gave me (per the ACOG) says 10 movements in 2 hours. Usually he does 10 movements in 5-10 minutes. He was super active earlier in the day but I usually do my kick counts at night after DD is in bed. I'd eaten and had a sweet drink. It only makes me nervous with the ICP risks and that my itching has been up. Thankfully he has been more active today but I'm watching him like a hawk.
ETA Here's a belly shot from 33 weeks compared to today:
