I can't believe John turned two weeks yesterday and that today is his due date. We had his blood "drawn" (heel prick) to retest his jaundice on Tuesday because it had spread to his bottom/thighs. He still eats well and has plenty of diapers so we weren't too concerned but the on call ped that day wanted it done. At his two week appointment yesterday, his ped said his numbers were 8.9 so that's up a bit from the hospital discharge but he thinks it's just breast milk jaundice and isn't concerned. John is up to 7 lbs 7 oz so 8 in a week!
Here's a picture from the weekend. I need to find my camera that has xmas pictures on it.
Hard to believe! Congratulations again!today is his due date

Ashely I am DYING for you to have this new babe!
I am thinking DS may be getting into a 3 week growth spurt as he's been cluster feeding since yesterday and hasn't slept great the last two nights. It doesn't seem to be food/intolerance related so that's all I can think of. Today is DH's 30th birthday party and we're having a party here for him today with some family and friends (more for his mum then anything as she was the one who wanted to have the party). Will post pictures later.
Congrats! Welcome (a little late)! Hope all continues well and that his jaundice has cleared up.

Thanks Sarah! I was noticing the other day that it looks like his jaundice is finally cleared up. He's still giving me a hard time at night with wanting to comfort suck/nurse but not wanting the boob or milk and getting frustrated. Sometimes he'll take a paci for a minute or two but I try not to push it on him so we'll see. Our bed isn't set up to cosleep safely and even when I've done side lying with him, he doesn't like it much. I know the sleeping thing is a phase and try to take it day by day. DD is getting better at putting herself to sleep again (had some regressing when moved to a toddler bed in Sept) and we've got a good routine so that's a huge help.
Tomorrow is John's one month appointment. I'm excited to see what his stats are. I'm pretty sure he's lactose intolerant like DD so I've cu out dairy which is hard for me but he's happier and less gassy/spits up far less so it's okay with me.
