Glad your DD is letting you rest and that you feel rested. I know what you mean about the baby causing the crampy sensation more than your body. I think they sometimes move around and it causes BHs or a cramplike feeling. I hope that your body does end up going on it's own so you don't have to deal with the induction stuff, but it sounds like even if it doesn't then they will work with you which is great.
Mia and Claire, I totally get the BH/cramp feeling from the baby more than the body. They're like half BHs or something. lol. I never know what to consider them when I think it may be from the baby.
I'm pretty convinced I have SPD. Everything matches up. Mine isn't too bad. As long as I bare through the pain in the morning I do alright during the middle of the day. If I'm in one place too long it gets worse. Which makes night time real fun. I don't have any back issues this pregnancy, but I had tons with Aiden. He was breech until 33ish weeks and then flipped and stayed OP. Wonder if that's part of your issue?
Owie Mia I hope baby gets into a better position for both your SPD pain as well as for your delivery of course. I get baby induced mild BHs all the time too. Sometimes they lead to stronger crampier ones, but most of the time they just are there.

Expecting #3 forChristmas!!!
Thanks ladies. Today the SPD hasn't been as bad but I've literally been sitting most of the day so that's helped. We had a nice dinner at my in-laws despite a couple of people not being able to make it and at my dad's place we got to visit with some close friends who we hardly ever see. Emma never got a nap but she crashed pretty soon after we got home which was nice.
Tomorrow we are going shopping but just for a few things. It's nothing specific to black friday but we're going to be around our favorite (and one of the less crowded) shopping areas when we get together with some family for lunch, so we figured we might as well see what we can get away with. If we do get any deals it would just be on kid stuff. We thought of looking at TVs because we'd like a new one but we don't need it and any spare money should be saved anyway for the kids/upcoming bills/savings.
I'm almost done reading Life of Pi. It's been on my to be read list forever and I love it. I want to see the film adaptation but we haven't gone to the theaters since the summer and before that was when I was pregnant with DD so we'll just wait until it's on DVD. The one thing that will be nice about being up all night nursing is I'll get tons of reading time in again.
Have fun tomorrow! Hopefully the SPD stays better like it was today.
I sat as much as I possibly could yesterday and the SPD wasn't as bad so that was nice. Today it's more like it's been but DH has been a huge help.
We got a replacement co-sleeper for 15% off without asking for the discount at BRU yesterday so we were excited about that. The city we were shopping in is smaller, so their BRU doesn't carry everything and the co-sleeper happened to be an unopened registry return. Our old one is okay, but one of the very top bars busted after we'd traveled with it (it's the arm's reach mini so it collapses like a pack n play) and DH didn't seem comfortable about using it again. I'm pumped to set that up tonight.
My NST yesterday took forever. He was awake at first but then fell asleep (I purposely ate a bunch of food and had coffee with cream and sugar) so we had to use juice and just wait it out. It makes me nervous that we've had those sorts of NSTs more then not, but I try not to let myself worry unnecessarily. We did get a ton of hand me downs from our friends so we have more then plenty of clothes for this little guy for a while. DH admitted today he doesn't feel like we're ready but he couldn't say why . I think he's just nervous to go through the whole newborn thing again.
I'm working on our Holiday cards while DD sleeps and DH ran out to home depot. I feel silly doing this so early but I know if I don't get it done now it's not happening.
That's awesome that you got the cosleeper for 15% off! It's so fun setting that stuff up. I know what your DH means about not being ready but not being able to say why. I have moments where I feel that way too! It really is such an adjustment at first.
Glad your NST went well. Maybe it's a good thing that he's sleeping on them. Maybe that means he will be a good sleeper! I wouldn't worry too much. I am sure he is just fine.
I've decided this year our holiday cards will be birth announcements. This way when they go out late no one will notice or care.
Sorry that baby wasn't moving for the NST. Mine didn't move much either at hers, but they scheduled it during a time that she's normally asleep. So I'm hoping the NST on Monday (if I get there) is much better since it'll be a more awake time for her. Is it possible for you to schedule them when he's normally more active?
but YAY for a new cosleeper! We've got the mini one too.
