Birthing day! You're doing it! Zoe's on her way!
Oooh I really hope this is it for you. Eleventh hour Zoe!!!
Alrighty ladies. Bring out all your most helpful tips for encouraging pressure waves!!
I'm on text with Jackie and she said the pressure waves died out earlier and she went to sleep for a bit. Now she is up and trying to get them going again. She's tried nipple stimulation and is getting ready to go for a walk. What else y'all got?
Listening to her birthing day tracks on the birth ball, and using a breast pump is the best I've got. And walking, which you already mentioned. Also making her environment calm and peaceful, so her body feels like it is nesting and ready to give birth. No water (bath or shower) yet. Squatting, and maybe sitting on the toilet, if she feels comfortable there.
I wish I had other suggestions to help push things along. Sending tons of E(and fast)LVs your way Jackie!
I hope things get going again soon! Try not to exhaust yourself, but a good walk might help.
no new ideas that weren't already mentioned. :(
I hope they have picked up again!
No ideas here but I'm sending out lots of birthing day vibes!!! Come on Zoe!!
Went for a good walk. Enjoyed some hubby time. ;) Been nursing my son. And trying to stay positive.
I've had a few good pressure waves this past hour but very inconsistent.
Any ideas?
BDing would have been my first thought aside from what you've done. The other thing that really irritates my uterus is housework (like mopping the floor, laundry etc). Just don't burn up too much energy if you do find something around the house to do that could get things going.
Sending lots of birthing vibes!
