She is gorgeous!!!! Congrats Jackie and fam :-)
Oh Jackie!!!! I am so thrilled for you! You fought SO HARD for this. You are a true birth warrior. What I'm most amazed at, is how in touch with your own body you were. Even when all of us were breathing down your (virtual) throat that you were about to have a HWBAC, you knew what was going on. You knew you were ok to stay home, and you knew when it was time to go. You knew what your body needed, and when you didn't know what else to do, you asked for help. You were the very definition of strength. You were, in a word, amazing.
I cannot wait to hear this story in your own words. It was a joy and adventure to have accompanied you on this journey online. I don't think I lost as much sleep over my own births! It was so much fun following your progress.
I hope that Zoe nurses til her belly is full, and then you both sleep for a good long while. She owes you some rest. Enjoy that baby girl, mamma. She is so lucky.
^^^^ YES, what Mara said!
I am truly truly blessed to have gotten to tag along (virtually) for this one! You are my hero Jackie! I literally couldn't have said it better than Mara.
ETA: Best side effect of the MASSIVE chat was getting to know some of these girls much better than I have had the chance to over the years. Loved that!
I completely agree with both Mara and Christa! I can't add anything to that...it was incredible all around, and your strength and wisdom was the most incredible of all! Congratulations again, to you and to your wonderful honorary-doula husband, too. So happy!!!
Way to go, Mama!! You did amazing and she is completely beautiful!!!
Congratulations! Little girls are great too! :sleepygirl:
