Thank you all! Afterwards all I could think was "I did it." I wish I had the euphoric moment after birth but all I could think was OMFG THIS HURTS cause well I ended up with a 2nd degree tear. But as soon as they were done with me down there I finally could concentrate on Zoe and just be amazed. Amazed that she came when she apparently needed. Amazed that I survived labor and delivery despite being completely exhausted. Amazed at how perfect she is.
Zoe came at 4:56pm at 41+6. 7 lbs, 12.8oz. 18 3/4". She's doing fantastic! After 24 hours we were released from the hospital! :)
I plan to bug my husband endlessly before he leaves for his TDY to help me write up my birth story. We were both incredibly thankful for the huge chat that went on during my long labor and birth by ladies that I've gotten to know well since joining pg.org forever ago. They helped me pass by the time and helped him support me better when things got intense.
What all of you really want to see. ;)

ETA: She's wearing a hat in all the photos because she was having issues getting her temp up and staying up. She pretty much stayed dressed warmly or on me skin to skin wrapped up. No issues now! :)

Jackie, I think we all had that euphoric moment FOR you when Becky posted Zoe was here and we all knew you had your VBAC. The feeling of victory was amazing. I think if we'd all been together physically the volume level would have blown the roof off the building! Zoe is perfection! So very beautiful! Congrats again and don't feel like you just have to move on with life yet. You are welcome to bask in your VBAC as long as you want!! And the baby fever you created is enough to blow the mercury right out of the thermometer!

She is so gorgeous! I am still so thrilled that you got your VBAC! I cannot wait to read your birth story. What an amazing journey you've had. :D

She is just perfect, Jackie, and I'm so glad you're getting to rest up and really enjoy these first few days with her! I totally agree with Anna, by the way: I think the energy from your VBAC might have set off a worldwide baby boom :p

She is beautiful! Awesome job momma!!! All of my kids have had issues regulating their temps so they spent time with hats on and against my skin for the first few days.

Doing well today! My milk came in overnight and she's already having lovely mustard poops! Woo hoo! Had her first ped check this morning. She was 7, 7 at discharge and this morning was 7, 11! Poor thing has issues latching on to my Dolly Parton boobs, so I let Aiden nurse just a bit first and then I nurse her on that boob at the next feeding. Zero pain for me so far. Oh, and this child waited to do all of her pooping and peeing till the appt this morning. She went through all 3 extra diapers I brought with me in about 30 minutes. Came home diaper-less! lol.
Zoe is a fantastic newborn. We all slept soundly last night. We did bed share and had zero crying since I was able to figure out her cues for hunger and dirty diaper so quickly. Unlike Aiden she is the typical rag doll who sleeps most of the time. Aiden was born wide awake, loud, and with head control.
I have been working on my birth story today. Boy it's long. Feel like I might set a record! :p
