Yay for SIL coming soon to help! Maybe you can a few minutes to yourself while she does some outside energy zapping activity with him for a bit. Glad the itching is getting better. I had PUPPS with DS1 and it was miserable. Glad it doesn't seem to be what you've got. Hope some breathing belly time helps clear whatever it is.

I hope the event went well and your stomach wasn't too irritated from it. Having ICP in both pregnancies, I can totally sympathize with how unbearable itchy skin can be. Toddlers are so tough sometimes, especially when they're overtired. I'm glad your SIL is going to be there to help out so you can get some rest. I find that DD is far better behaved when there are fresh faces around.

Well, birthday take 2 was a success! My SILs boys entertained my son for 3 hours. I got to sit on my butt and do nothing. Very nice!

I was up half the night itching like crazy though. My whole stomach is covered with these bumps now. I can't have anything touching my stomach or I go crazy. I am keeping it moisturized and bare as much as possible. Last night I was friggin' cold because I couldn't use any blankets and then I was super uncomfortable because I couldn't lay on my side because then that bottom side of my stomach itches more. I'm so exhausted! This is insane how much I'm itching though. i'm trying to bare through it, but the thought of being like this for another 3+ weeks is seriously depressing.
I really don't feel that this is normal stretch mark irritation or irritation from laundry detergent or anything. It's like this super itchy rash that's spreading.

I had something similar for ages. I found myself scratching in my sleep and making bloody spots on the sheets. My doctor was mystified. Eventually a dermatologist gave me a prescription which worked, but only after 3 x per day for about 2-3 weeks. Agony.
I doubt this helps, but here goes. (I'm in Canada): 1/4% meth&campin1%ECTOSOCR compound.

See, everything I'm finding online that might help all says 2-3 weeks. Well, at most I've got just over 3 weeks left! Won't lie, I'm really hoping she comes this week since DH has a lot of free time and can easily take the leave without any harassment from his commander. After that? Not so much.

My SIL is starting her "watch" and promises to always keep her phone charged and on her at all times so she can quickly arrange stuff with her boss and get Aiden for us. I've even got a wife backup now who will take DS any time of the day or night if needed! Got DS's bag packed and my hospital bag packed. Car seat is being installed today.

Oh! Today is my wedding anniversary! In 6 years we've had 5 moves, 4 bases, 3 states, and almost 2 kids! lol. Nothing fun planned, but we are going out to dinner as a family tonight. Neither one of us wants to cook or clean a thing!

You might find that your itch problem isn't all related to your pregnancy! Getting started on a solution NOW may make things bearable after baby is born. The cure may not suddenly appear the day you give birth after all. My problem was the SIX MONTH wait for the dermatologist.

Well, I have no other care provider who will see me or even let me make an appt till after I'm released from prenatal care, so I'd have to wait anyways until after pregnancy. I'm seeing a different MW Wednesday, and I'll of course bring it up again. I haven't been going nuts today, but I've been in just shorts and a sports bra since my SIL left yesterday afternoon. By keeping my stomach open to the air and nothing touching it for so long the itching isn't nearly as bad. Too bad I can't go out to eat like this!

Happy Anniversary! The itching sounds awful, but what a relief it must be to have everything sorted out for DS and back up care for him should you need it. I hope you have an amazing time at dinner tonight. I wish there was some way to get you relief for the itching sooner. I don't know if it would help as I'm sure it's for different reasons but a lot of ICP moms I know say that mint body creams (that have a cooling sensation) have helped them with the itching on their soles, only thing is I'm not sure if it's available in a regular body lotion variety. I'd imagine the lotions intended for your feet would be pretty thick.

Bummer that the itching is still driving you crazy. I'm sure you've done it but have you tried putting on a thick coat of calamine (sp?) or even some diaper rash cream you use for Aiden? I know it won't take away the rash but maybe it will give you a little relief from the itching. If you've normally got really sensative skin I'd skip it though because you'd hate to make it worse.

Yay for getting a few hours to sit while BIL entertained Aiden!

And Happy Anniversary to you guys! I'll send lots of baby thoughts your way this week
