I'm taking the frustrating movement as she has LOTS of room still. But of course I want her to be head down. This whole transverse and breech thing is not comfortable!!! lol
Hope your little man gets the picture sooner than Zoe.
I hear ya! I am trying to keep a positive mindset that if he can do all this then he has plenty of room to move back. Its actually more comfortable for me when he is not head down, but I don't want anything to interfere with my birth plan so I am glad when he is head down. The less obstacles the better!
How cute of your husband turning to like Ina May . DH is big on his german heritage and lived there when he wasn't deployed in the service so that's a bonus for getting him to watch it with me soon.
I can't imagine how frustrating it must be with her turing breech each night. I hope she gets the picture soon! I wish I had made time to do hypo birthing home study and wasn't in such crazy nesting mode all the time. I'm huge on focused meditation and all the hypnobirthing videos I watched in DDs pregnancy just had me in awe. Keeping my fingers crossed for your appointment!
Well, I wasn't sure how she was positioned this morning other than she had shifted in some way overnight. A little before lunch I felt hiccups high on my left hip! Oh the excitement I had!!! I made plans to walk her down. Aka, let's go to the outlet mall 35 minutes away. Finally found play dresses in my price range, Aiden took a nap in his stroller (truly a miracle), and I walked my butt off for almost 3 hours. At dinner time I felt hiccups again and they're at my lower left hip - she's working her head way down!
Okay, cross your fingers and whatever else you've got that she stays this way and doesn't turn breech overnight!
Good job, Zoe! Head down is so much more comfy! Isn't there something about using a rebozo to hold them head down once they flip?I could be making that up. But I know you've got at least 1 ring sling......
Yep, you can use a wrap or a ring sling as belly support and to get them from hanging out front and more in line. If I can confirma in the morning that she's head down I plan to do this! Been wanting to do this but she's been moving a lot where I didn't feel comfortable just yet.
Oooooo....in our BB chat I mentioned needed to break in my linen RS more - this could help!
So what's the word this morning? Is she cooperating?
I honestly have no idea. I'm getting just enough minimum movements to know she's okay! So I'm guessing she's head-ish down.....I think I felt rib kicks this morning? But it was light enough to be hands. I've been rather busy. Kinda wondering if her back is facing out. That would be nice!
Look what I got from my MIL today in the mail!
For those that don't know, she informed DH and I before we knew the sex that it had better be a boy because she doesn't do girls. She had 3 boys and 1 girl and my SIL assures me that their mom really doesn't do girly stuff ever. They have 6 grandsons so far! Well, she didn't make this set herself, but the fact that she thought of me and Zoe to find such a cute set (maybe she had it made by someone she knew?) says a lot! I think the hat and booties are going to have to come to the hospital with me. The shirt looks like it won't fit right away, but I bet it'll look adorable paired with a white shirt and wool longies.
And the blanket will definitely get use because well we're overloaded with blue ones from DS and I didn't buy any new ones for Zoe!
