Thank you for sharing your birth story Jackie! What an amazing and exhausting experience. I had no idea that they had prepped you like that while you were there. So thankful that your OB was so pro VBAC and willing to step back and let nature do its thing. I love hearing about VBACs that the mom is listened to and doesn't have to fight for her labor.

You totally rocked it Jackie! I've got chills of energy from reading your story and remembering that pumped feeling from my VBACs as well. I'm so glad this birth was healing for you. Congrats again!

He is a great OB I've decided after this. He could have easily led me into the OR. He actually called me Tuesday to check up on me and Zoe!

I LOVE this picture! While I have no doubt you were exhausted beyond comprehension, you look so serene and at peace.

Agreed. So serene and so very pro mama. Nursing Teagan those first few days never looked that easy.

Had Zoe's 2 week appt yesterday! She's up to 8 lbs, 11 oz and 20.5"! Wow she's grown! Sadly Zoe and I have both caught Aiden's sickness. I'm feeling pretty crappy, so no doubt Ms. Fussy Pants has reason to be not so content these days. Hope we're able to beat most of this back ASAP since my husband graduates from his training on Friday (finally the end of 2.5 years of torture!). I'd like to not be a sick mess and be able to attend. Assuming I find a babysitter willing to watch Aiden who is still coughing! Oh, and it's a formal event that evening....exactly what I want to attend at 2 weeks pp. Ha.

Oh my goodness her outfit is killing me! DH looks so proud too. I'm sorry you all are sick. I hope that everything works out for Friday so that you can have a good time (assuming you'll feel up to going). I am positive you will look fantastic despite not feeling so hot.

ETA: How awesome about DH being so close to finishing his training! Two and a half years is a long time.

Entirely too much cuteness. I think that does it. I'm doing wool next time around. Thanks for pushing me over the edge.

I'm so sorry you're all sick. You'll look fabulous no matter what you wear to the graduation. Some one will watch Aiden. Cough or no cough. Friday is a BIG deal!
