Adorable knit set!! I can't tell from the pic exactly how big the sweater is but you might as well bring it along to the hospital. Knits always seemed to fit Teagan well before I thought they would and I'd end up putting off trying them on too long. We have a few ridiculous pics of 1 mo Teagan squished into a shirt my SIL knit for her.
Can you feel Zoe's back or bottom? I could never really tell the difference between hand and foot tapping or really get a sense for where hiccups were coming from but I could always tell T's positioning by where her bottom was.
Same here--My very most favorite part of being pregnant was when her butt was up in my ribs with her back facing out and I could feel her practice breathing in there. *sigh* The sweetness! Flutters and pokes and hiccups just confused the heck out of me, though.
Jackie- So glad little Zoe seems to be making her way into the head down position! I hope she stays that way for you. My Griffin is head down, but somtimes turns slightly posterior. I don't want a posterior labor. Ugh. And those little knit clothes are sooooo sweet! You will have to take some pictures of her in there after she's born.
Woke up this morning and I could tell exactly where her back was off to one side. Hiccups help me big time in determining which lump is her head! As long as I'm still and keep one light hand moving around I can tell where it's coming from. She's just soooo much calmer than Aiden was in the womb that kicks aren't helping me as much as it did with him.
Alright had my 37 week appt this morning! Weight gain on track (though I'm pretty sure I would have weighted less if this nurse had allowed me to use the bathroom first like all the others do! Cause I *really* had to GO after my hour drive), BP a bit low (HA HA HA!) but fine, etc. The u/s tech then did a quick u/s where Zoe was HEAD DOWN!!! I didn't have a chance to wonder her position once I got up this morning, so this was great! Watched her stick out her tongue a few times, open an eye (that was CRAZY to me!), and omg she has HAIR! I could see it! And then the tech annoyed me because she insisted on getting a few measurements and a weight estimate even though the MWs didn't request that at all. She told me even though earlier I said I didn't want to know. Zoe is supposedly 6lbs, 6oz. Whatever. We all know how accurate those are! I then met with an OB with the practice (one I hadn't seen before). He read through my birth plan and said that there is nothing on there that he needed to talk to me about (whew!). Told me that everything looks perfect and that I'm still a great VBAC candidate. Then went on a random 2 minute tangent about how sex, spicy foods, walking, etc can't induce labor because labor starts from a chemical reaction that science just can't duplicate and shouldn't rush. My face must have had a look to it because he stopped and said "and apparently you know all of this...." He ended with saying that as long as everything goes as it has been, I'll never see him again. Woot. Seeing my favorite of the 4 midwives next week!
And I've decided I should start pep talking Zoe now about how she can come out whenever she wants between now and Thanksgiving. How I can't wait to meet her, etc. I didn't start pep talking Aiden till 40 weeks and that was just too late.
