Today is going better so far. Apparently DH had an eye appointment this morning and needed me to drive him (just had to drop him off and pick him up). Right now he looks like a druggie (and will for 3 days!) and can't read anything, so he's waiting to go into work till he can read. Aiden is enjoying seeing his daddy and I'm soooo thankful for the unexpected mini break. Hopefully the rest of the day will go smoothly. Tomorrow we're supposed to start getting rain from the hurricane outskirts. Hoping that all we get is the edge of it cause DH will be gone (we're an hour from the coast).
That's great news about DH being around the next couple days! Take as much of a break as you can get away with!!!!
I am not looking forward to this hurricane. At minimum it's going to be a very windy yucky rainstorm. *sigh* We are supposed to get the outskirts Sunday night and the big part on Tuesday. One older lady at the grocery store was like "don't buy perishables, we're going to lose power" Ummmm what is my family going to eat Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday lady?! LOL! I didn't buy a ton, but we have to eat in the meantime!
Well, it was just 3 hours that he was home, but I took it! lol. He should be home soon tonight and then he'll be gone by 7am tomorrow for Tough Mudder in South Carolina.
Looks like just a bunch of on and off rain for us. I'm mostly worried about what to do with a pent up toddler because between this and the cold front we have 4 days of rain. We're on the edge of TWC's "maybe" power outage area. Not too worried since we're on base.
Well, I had a random hour of BHs this afternoon (about every 5 minutes)! I was sitting and drinking water the whole time. They stopped when DS asked to nursed. Ha ha. Had a couple more since then, but nothing exciting.
Ooph, sorry it's been such a tough week with the toddler. I was SO thankful for the help I had at the end of my pregnancy from my parents and my DH. It is NOT easy being on your own at that point! Seriously, like Leigh said, take the path of least resistance- make life as easy as you can right now!
Well, woke up this morning feeling sore as if I had been exercising my pelvic muscles yesterday! I think she's settling in and not just free floating around completely. Going up and down stairs has been really quite uncomfortable. Heck, just getting my pants on was an adventure this morning.
I did get a letter in the mail today confirming that they're classifying me as GBS negative! I'm putting it in my hospital bag just in case I end up having to go to the local hospital instead of my planned one.
