Yay! Welcome to your lodge!

Yesss! I can't believe it's that time!
Well, for y'all that don't know me, I have 5 kids (see siggy)
My first three kids were hospital births. Had one OK experience, one meh experience, and a pit augmented birth from hell. Since then, I went on to have 2 amazing home births. After my last birth, I had "post partum pre eclampsia" and ended up in the hospital. But this time I am on meds, my BP is holding steady, and the OB doesn't see any reason why this baby needs to be born at the hospital. So Yippie for that
My appointment Monday was complete with a sono. Daphne is head down and approx 6lb, 4oz. My BP was 111/77 and my weight "gain" so far this pregnancy is -2 pounds.

It was wild! My feet and legs swelled and the headache was awful. I thought it was exhaustion. My BP got to 151/108. I got IV mag sulfate. It was nice though because I was able to take meds for it that pregnant woman can't.

Welcome to your lodge! Glad everything is looking good with baby and your health right now! Is it normal for you to lose/not gain any weight in pregnancy? I have gained very little so far, but I'm only 21 weeks... with DD I only gained after week 20 as well...but then I still put on 35lbs.

I have been terrified of getting pre e so I have been basically watching everything I eat. When you eat better than you do not pregnant, the weight kinda falls off. And I am obese anyway.

Welcome to your lodge!! Can't believe us feb moms are almost to the end!! So glad your bp is so great and most of all glad that little miss is head down!! Anything you plan to do different for this homebirth than the last 2?
