Well when I dropped off the pee the lab person said she thinks they measure a specific type of protein to others shouldnt matter. And it didnt matter that I was late so that's good.

Why oh why are my headaches the worst when my BP is good?!?!? I think these meds are still donig it. BOOO! I hope I can come off them really soon after birth!!!

I want to start my raspberry leaf tea tonight but DH is paranoid Ill go right into labour!

Remind him that RRL does NOT put you into labor! If it was a magic labor inducing tea, I wouldn't still be pregnant.

Good luck with your results! I had to do the pee collection a few times with DD1 and once with DD2. It is not my favorite thing in the world.

Ugh to those headaches. When I have a nasty headaches that I either can't take something for or that I need immediate relief for, I use a cold compress on my head. It definitely takes the edge off.

RRL will not put you into labor. If you want to try anything, maybe start a regimen of EPO starting at 37 weeks. If I recall correctly, I started it orally at 37 weeks and then vaginally at 38 weeks. I'd read that women who've had cryogenic cervical surgery (which I had at age 19) are at higher risk for 'failure to progress' due to scar tissue on the cervix. EPO softens the cervix and has been shown to help. No problems dilating here! I didn't have to deal with the yuckiness of the EPO all that long either because T arrived at 38+4.

Sorry you had to go through the 24 hour pee test, but glad that you are through it now. I can't believe that lady didn't want to give you another jug. LOL What is the alternative? People are so weird sometimes.

Sorry that you are having headaches. I agree with a cold compress. Also, try massaging (fairly hard) the pressure point in the fleshy part of your hand between your thumb and pointer finger. That sometimes helps with headaches. Hope that you feel better soon.

Well I havent heard anything back about the 24 urine collection, so hopefully that means it is ok. I'd assume someone would call if it was way crazy.
Ive started drinking RRLT and not in labour as DH feared! LOL! I only managed 2 cups a day so far but hope to bump up to 4 quickly. Its just about having time to drink it since DS keeps me pretty busy. And Im so hot all the time it's not always nice having a hot beverage.

Anyone know if I could steep ahead and make an iced tea out of it??

I think I'm going to try epo but not until my mom is here at 38 weeks just incase! Ive heard a couple of stories of ladies going into labour right after starting it so I dont want to take that chance. I sooooooo want to labour on my own. NO INDUCTION!!
