Yep, epo is evening primrose oil. THey look like vit e capsules, oil filled.

Had my 37 week appt today. Went well! Bp was awesome 124/78, lost 3 lbs (clearly fluid), confirmed that 24 urine was good (they wanted less than .3 and mine was .21) and no protein in dip urine today! YAY! Baby was nice and active, measuring 40cm fundus, but OB doesnt really go by that, just more for showing progress.

She did mention still induction shortly after 38 weeks, but we'll see. I didnt say anything either way but figured why get into an argument now (which I dont think she would) but also if she had any inclination to argue, I dont want to put it in her mind that I will argue and therefore use scare tactics. If I seem agreeable and she does next appt and everything is good, she has no reason than to agre to wait if I say I want to. You know? I dont want to make her hostile, but I dont think she will.

Ive been drinking RRLT 2 times per day.....not even a BH! LOL!!! But I have been feeling better lately for some reason! I'm going to try to up the tea soon. And like I said start epo at 38 weeks once my Mom is here.

OB said she'd check my cervix next week and thats fine, especially if i DO need to be induced, I'd want to know my bishop score. It surely was crappy with DS and like ive said MANY times, I was a cs waiting to happen! Dont know HOW i did vaginal really!! Just managed to hang in there. I really reallly really hope I go on my own before any induction. Guess me and DH will have to start DTD again. LOL!

i know a lot of people don't like it, but maybe you can get cervidil? it worked really well for me and that was all i needed for my induction, the rest was natural. I was 1cm when I got it. Either way, being induced sucks! I may be in the same position at the end as well.

Janice, I totally would use cervidil, but I'm asthmatic and I guess sometimes the cervidil can cause asthma attacks??? That's why I had the foley cath induction last time. I'm going to ask her about this though, since my asthma is allergy induced. I have never ever had my asthma bother me for no reason, and I've never had it bad enough to go to the hospital or anything, so i'm not sure if that would make a difference.

and I know that alot of time they send you home after you get it inserted after monitoring for a few hours, but if I needed to stay in that case, I guess I probably would, if it meant I could have it while being an asthmatic.

I'm going to start all the natural labour inducers soon. I feel like because I feel like im rushing baby, but I am still also a bit afraid about having another shoulder injury IF it is related to size.

Great appointment!! Remember, no natural method is going to put you into labor. They simply help if you're well on your way, like the castor oil helped Jackie. They certainly can't hurt but try not to get your expectations up that EPO, RRL tea, and DTD are going to get you a baby before 38 weeks.

I know Erin, I'm just hoping! And my next appt isnt until Friday which puts me at 38w2d, and she wont want to induce over the weekend (unless something is really wrong) so that puts her wanting to do Monday at the earliest when i will be 38w5d, and I'm definitely going to push that to at least 39 weeks.
Just hoping and praying I will go before then!

I'm so glad your appointment went well! I would think that if you made it to an induction and used cervadil, that they'd want to keep you for the possible asthma issue just to be on the safe side. From what the MW said to me Monday and yesterday, it seems subsequent pregnancies are easier to "bump along" once things start going so hopefully all you'll be able to get your body moving on your own.
