Alright so let's see... DH and I have been together for 10 years now and married for 7 years. It has been very long and very short at the same time. I am convinced that he is the only guy I have ever met who could deal with all my quirks and still want to be around me, much less marry me!
I grew up in Anchorage, AK but moved to BC Canada for my Junior and Senior year of highschool because my dad was coaching a Junior A hockey team there. While I was there I met DH during my Junior year and I was done. We actually met in our school's musical, Bye Bye Birdie. He's not much of a singer but can dance and liked to be surrounded by the very high girl to guy ratio

I knew within 2 months of dating that I was going to marry him. His mom was awful to me and was very outspoken in her opinion that we should break up. My parents were neutral because they didn't want to put any baggage on us. Everyone else laughed or rolled their eyes and said we would never even make it out of high school still together. Boy were they wrong! LOL

We moved to Oregon as soon as we graduated. It took us a year to realize that we didn't have to have a traditional wedding to get married. We didn't have the money to afford a traditional wedding, we refused to put our parents into debt for a wedding and most importantly we knew how his mom would act...

Sooo, we eloped! We had a really beautiful waterfront ceremony with gorgeous wedding clothes and professional pictures. We just didn't invite anyoneWe used the professional pictures to send out with announcements to let everyone know that we got married. We were both 19 at the time and it was definitely the right choice for us.

I am incredibly proud of our relationship because I know being high school sweethearts and getting married as "teens" statistically puts us at a disadvantage but I can honestly say that since the day we got together we have never broken up and since we got married we have never discussed or mentioned divorce. He truly is my best friend and I rarely tire of being around him.![]()

Aw! Great story about y'all! Loved it.![]()
Ugh, apparently my Dr took a closer look at my urine samples from yesterday and ordered a 24 urine sampleI have been having a little bit of protein in my urine for several months and she hasn't been concerned because my BP has been great (which it still is) but I'm guessing there was more protein yesterday which is why she wants to be on the safe side. I was really dehydrated yesterday so I'm hoping that's what caused this and that the 24 hour sample will come back great....
