OMG! I can't believe your SIL and MIL! I'm so sorry you have to deal with that! Does your DH ever stand up to them for you?
Sorry you're starting to feel antsy about still being pregnant. It certainly won't be for long anymore. Are you facing any outside deadlines?

Ughh, that is frustrating with your MIL. I am so sorry you have to deal with that. There is a way you can block them from writing on your wall with out full out blocking them but they would still be able to message you. Maybe that would be enough for them to leave you alone with out causing feelings. You could just tell them that facebook is being weird for you and not letting some people post to your wall.![]()

People are so clueless! I'm sorry that now your MIL is in on it, posting things to Kostas without even acknowledging you. They probably don't mean anything by it (well, most people wouldn't although your SIL and MIL sound like they are in a class of their own...) but it's still super insensitive.
I'm hoping that you will be posting that you are in labor soon. I can't wait to see a picture of that gorgeous baby!![]()
So I bought the Hypnobabies "Come OUT, baby" track last night and listened to it a bunch. I have an appt tomorrow morning at 9:30am and I reeeeeeally don't want to make it to itBecause if I do then we will have to set up NST/BPP stuff and then the clock will start running.
Send any labor/birthing vibes you have... I could use them.
He has gotten better over the years but he still doesn't stand up to them like I wish he would. His mom is very manipulative and conditional. She plays major head games and guilt trips. Not to mention his family just brushes most feelings under the rug instead of dealing with them. It is very frustrating...

Sending you "come out baby" vibes. Hoping that you are in labor as I type this![]()
My DH was the same way. I would ask him why he wouldnt stand up for me when his mom said the things she said to him about me. Finally, one night, he turned to his mom and asked her how she was treating me was any better than the way his grandma (her mil) treated her. She didnt get better about it for a while, butafter that DH didnt just sit there and listen to her bs
41 week appt
So I had my 41 week appt today (even though I hit 41 tomorrow technically). It was actually a really good appt! I had the kind of "head" midwife and she was incredibly reassuring and supportive. I explained to her how I was feeling mentally and emotionally and she reassured me that everything is going just fine and that we aren't even scheduling the NST/BPP until Thursday and we won't even be talking about induction stuff until next Monday (which was one of the biggest things stressing me out about hitting 41 weeks).
My BP was good, I was a bit dehydrated this am though so she told me to work on pushing lots of fluids. She offered a cervical check which I decided to take and she also offered to do a sweep while she was checking, which I also accepted. So this morning I was about 2.5cm dilated and the sweep didn't cause any immediate bloody show which surprised her.
I was a bit more crampy when I went to the store to buy more Powerade and juice but nothing super out of the ordinary. But as the day has gone on I have been having more strong pressure waves and I am starting to have some bloody show. I didn't have any bloody show until about 5cm during labor with Kostas so I am hoping that some changes are being made. I've bit the bullet and DTD with DH 2x in the last 24 hours too. As well as listening to my "Come OUT, baby" hypnobabies track.
Kostas even hugged my belly and said "Cricket... come out come out wherever you are!" today so I think he is ready to meet his brother too
Yesterday I got pretty upset and cried because DH had to cancel his flight to Anchorage for a big police meeting and I felt terrible that he had to cancel it due to me and then all my other stuff came out, like our flight back home on the 17th and him getting back to work and my worries about induction etc. He was so wonderful and reassured me that it was all good and that his police chief has his back and will help in whatever way he can because "family comes first" and that if we need to change our tickets, its no big deal. I felt much better after our talk.![]()
