Thanks ladies! I'm still pretty blown away by the whole thing and my part in it all.
My milk has come in big time. I am so holy goodness engorged. Every time I think we are making headway, I get super engorged again. Ugh. I'm glad I have so much milk but OUCH.
Marek is such a calm baby. It is awesome after having such a fussy first baby. Pretty much the only time he cries is when he has to get his diaper changed. Speaking of diapers, he has a pretty bad diaper rash alreadyI switched back to the Pampers that he didn't have a problem with and have been slathering him in Calendula diaper cream every diaper change. I have also been trying to give him diaper free time but it is hard since we aren't at home where I have all my stuff. Tomorrow I'm going to try and give him even more diaper free time.
As for me I'm definitely starting to feel the hormone plummet. I feel super emotional and finally broke down tonight and had a big sob fest. My mom and sister are extra emotional because my dad is having his surgery on Thursday and I'm having a hard time dealing with their weird behavior because I am emotionally sensitive from the post partum hormone changes. I also feel like the meanest mom ever with Kostas right now. His behavior is a little extra emotional but I just can't handle the extra attitude and I have freaked out a couple times. Ugh. I just feel like I can't do anything right right now.
Thank goodness I have such a sweet and beautiful newborn out of this deal!

Those adjustments to the bigger family do involve emotions on everybody's part! Sorry it is so tough. So when will you be heading home? After your Dad's surgery? Has DH gone back to work? I hope your doctor can help you with this transition...as well as the ladies here! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!![]()

Hurray for your milk coming in and being so plentiful, though I'm sorry about the engorgement. I agree with gardenbug that any family change like that is going to bring a lot of emotions to the table. I hope everything goes amazing with your dad's surgery and that the diaper free time helps the rash.
Two is such a tough age and they're so emotionally charged, I can only imagine what that's like on a tough day but you'll all get through it just fine.![]()
I hope his diaper rash clears up soon! Could he be reacting to something in your diet? I had that problem a bit with ds2.

Had a check up today for Marek. Everything is looking great with him! And most importantly at 6 days old he is up a full pound from his discharge weight!! He was 7lbs 5oz at discharge and he is now 8lbs 6oz!! Woot!
My only real question was how long the blood in the whites of his eyes will be there. She said that the broken blood vessels/blood is very normal in babies who are born as fast as he was and that it will probably last 2-6 weeks. Which is good to know so that I don't have to worry about it.
He is still so so mellow and he is getting so chubby, I could just kiss him all day!
